1. Interior wall tiles: The interior wall tiles are glazed ceramic tiles, which should be soaked in water for more than two hours before construction. The wall tiles should be soaked in water and dried in the shade before being paved. The wet pasting method should be used for construction. The cement mortar should be 2:1 in proportion and white cement or special jointing agent should be used for pointing. The gap between bricks should be very small. It is not allowed to use pure cement to stick wall tiles, which may cause hollowing or wall tiles cracking.
2. External wall tiles: most of the external wall tiles are ceramic tiles, which generally do not need to soak in water. Also use the wet pasting method,which the cement mortar should be 2:1 in proportion. However, a small amount of 801 glue should be added to the cement mortar to increase the bonding strength. Generally, pure cement is used for pointing. The gap between bricks is required to be about 8-10mm. When pasting wall tiles, the water should wets the base course, the horizontal marking line shall be snapped on the wall and the vertical calibration line shall be hung. At the same time, the surface flatness shall be checked and the jointing shall be carried out within 24 hours after the paving.
3. Advanced wall tiles: In the process of paving advanced wall tiles, it is required to use 1:1 cement mortar as the base course, roughen the surface and then use special wall tile paste for paving. This construction method is expensive and is not recommended for general family decoration.
